We are cordially inviting you to the opening of “Flicker. Graphic Arts from South Korea”, the exhibition organized as a part of Main Program of the International Print Triennial 2018.
Graphic Art in the 21st century became one of the cultural sign of South Korea. The abundance of forms of imaging, skilful balancing between the visual language proper to the cultures of the Far East, characterized by minimalism and different from the European way of constructing the image on the one hand and aesthetics characterizing the new media with its flickering, fluidity and layering of images on the other, are the trademarks of Korean artists.
The exhibition has been prepared on the basis of works of artists from South Korea collected for over thirty years and will be the broadest presentation of Korean art in Poland, including about 40 works by 20 artists.
The Opening will take place on September 4th, 2018 at 6 PM in Manggha Museum, 26 Konopnickiej St., Kraków.
